Hi Robert 🙂 I'm seeking a more efficient way to identify and apply consistent text formatting throughout my document. With numerous documents in my queue, manually searching and replacing local text formatting using Find/Change for each instance is time-consuming. Have some text with local formatting (font and colors, no paragraph or charcter styles) is it possbile to load these formatting to "Find/Change>Find Format:" without manually adding font, color and other propertiles of selected text (or object for 'Object' tab of Find/Change). Something like "find/select" same fill or stroke color in Illustrator.

Thank you, Abambo. I appreciate your response. However, I was hoping for a more comprehensive solution. Currently, Acrobat's spell-check feature is limited to editable text fields or text editing. It would be incredibly useful if Acrobat could scan the entire open document for typos and grammatical errors, providing a more thorough proofreading experience. This feature would greatly enhance the overall functionality of the software.

Tested new AI Assistant with some 2-3 pages US English PDFs. Intentionaly added some typos and grammar errors. It always say something like "Based on the provided text, there are no apparent spelling errors in the document." If ask it to check again, somtimes it catches few typos but not all. In my opinion it is something basic that AI Assistant should be able to do.

If we have to replace random page (not in sequence) in PDF, going to each page, then right clicking on it and choosing 'replace page', then locating source page is quite slow process, is there any eaiser solution for this. For example, I have 100 page PDF, now want to replace page 3, 9, 18, 33, 51, 68, 70. Is there any script of plug for replacing all at onces or drag and drop over page thumbnail to replace it with new page.

I often use following to preflight options. Print Production>Preflight>Set all black text and vector objects to overprint Print Production>Preflight>Convert color to U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 (convert spot colors to CMYK So trying to create droplet for these, there on 'Preflight: Droplet Setup' window, not finding these two fixes anywhere, checked all the options available through two 'Run Preflight check using' drop downs. Can anyone please help with this? I'm on Mojave and Acrobat Pro DC 2020.006.20034, but is same on previous versions of Acrobat Pro, once I tried to do the same on Acrobat Pro X with similar result.

I'm using a 'tab' for two level of nested numbers, '2.' then 'a.' on same line. Is there any proper way to do it? I know '2. a.' and then '2. b.' is possible, but that is not what I want.

Having similar issue on Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 (22.1-64-bit) on Windows 10 (1809-17760.1), it freeze while working and only option that work is 'end task'.

It should be B but it is selecting A, if you press Ctrl+Left Arrow key it move cursor one word left, that is correct behavior, while for selecting it move to wrong direction.

InDesign 2015, Windows 10, in Urdu (right to left) text, if I try to select a character or word using cursor key, it select to wrong direction, i.e. Shift + Left cursor key selects character on right, Preference>Right-to-Left>Cursor Control>Cursor Movement is already set to 'Visual' and it work well for cursor movement. Edit: Just checked similar situation in Word 2016, there's no such problem, right to left text selection with cursor key working fine.

Please read it carefully. There's nothing in the Paragraph Style and you don't need one, only thing you need is latest Jameel Noori Nastaleeq (v3) font, don't ask for download link but Google it. Thanks

Hi Not sure if I'm posting it on right place. On Windows 10 machine I used Set-up.exe --language=en_IL from Command Prompt to setup InDesign CC 2018 English-Hebrew unattended, it worked perfect. Now on MacOS High Sierra machine I want to do the same, tried running Open Install.app --args language=en_IL from Terminal and then Open Install.app --args --language=en_IL both commands install InDesign CC 2018 fine but non Hebrew version, can anyone please help with Install.app switches on MacOS?

I'm on Windows 10 (16257) and Adobe Illustrator CS 2015.2.1 Release (Hebrew). I have changed default font style in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 19 Settings\en_IL\x64\New Document Profiles Normal Paragraph Style Language: English: UK Alignment: Left Composer: Adobe Single-line Composer When I pick up Type Tool (not Right-To-Left Type Tool) and start typing, it type in Right-to-Left direction and show override on Normal Paragraph Style, now if I click on Normal Paragraph Style to clear override or use Clear Override from menu, it correct the problem and show normal Left-to-Right text. Seems like it always take input as Middle East Character Formats. Windows language and keyboard settings are all correct, because it works fine InDesign for both Left-to-Right and Right-to-Left languages. Edit: Find something strange, in Paragraph Style Options, on General section, under Indent and Spacing, there is Paragraph Direction setting, but on actual Indent Spacing section there is no such setting available. I know there is Paragraph Direction option on Palette, I tried correcting it there and then Redefining Style but it doesn't work.

Hi all, There's a new version (3) of Jameel Noori Nastaleeq font, remove old version and install this new one, that's all, nothing else is needed, some words still need manual adjustments ( and off course you need InDesign with Hebrew support installed).

Hi Shibli, I use this JNN font, it works perfect in Microsoft Word 2016 and some other apps but in InDesign some words like 'کیجیئے' are distorted. Maybe you have different version of font or InDesign, please share you font and settings to mnsiw@yahoo.com I'm on Sierra and InDesign 2017, on an other machine have Windows 10 Pro and same version of InDesign.

Hi r0h00, in my workflow I still use InPage (read above), default character spacing for Urdu font is not appropriate so I use -160 Tracking in Character Style and apply that style in Paragraph Style using GREP. For problematic words I use InPage>PDF>Illustrator and then copy to InDesign and export as Snippet to reuse it. It take some extra work / effort but still lot better than InPage or non-text base solution for Urdu and other right to left languages.

I tired it on Adobe InDesign CC 2015 and 2017 on Windows 10 and MacOS Seirra with same result. Yeah I use InPage but it has very limited set of tools and options. Mubeen is not that good in real use, even in their sample PDF there are lots of kerning tracking issues. For now I'm using GREP + Character Style to control kerning and it work well. There are only few problematic words, found a workaround (InPage to Illustratorfor to InDesign and snippet for repeated words), but it take little bit extra time as compare to simple text base workflow.
